Kopic´s farm in our neighborhood is a former farm from the end of the 18th century and is a cultural monument. Together with Dlas´s estate in Dolánky near Turnov, it is one of the most interesting examples of folk architecture in the neighborhood. The farm was originally owned by the family of František Jiroš, the first mayor of the village of Kacanovy from 1849, and after him, the farm was also formerly called Jiro´s rychta. The farm is still used by the family of Vojtěch Kopic, who married into the family in 1932. Vojtěch Kopic created a number of charming sandstone reliefs in the ravine below the farm. He began creating reliefs during World War II and continued until his death in the 1980s. He mainly drew themes for his hobby from mythical czech history and created an interesting rock gallery. Kopic´s farm appears in few czech movies. The farm is not open to the public. Rock reliefs, on the other hand, are popular among visiters. The farm is 500 m from Sandstone Lodge and you can walk around the reliefs in 30 minutes. The relief passage is not barrier-free and is not suitable for strollers.
